Mary Michaels
Chief People Officer
Mary Michaels serves as Chief People Officer of Redwood Services where she leads the company’s Human Resources function. In this role, she partners closely with the business to align strategy, leadership, culture, and workforce capability – helping Redwood’s Partner Companies grow, adapt and perform at their best.
Prior to joining Redwood, Mary spent 25 years at Windstream, a national telecommunications company. Most recently, she served as Windstream’s Chief Human Resources Officer for six years, where she led the company’s people strategy, including initiatives to strengthen recruiting, retention, and employee engagement. Prior to the CHRO, Mary led the Total Rewards function and held several finance leadership roles including Vice President of Investor Relations and Assistant Treasurer.
Mary holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Finance from Webster University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Tulane University.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys time with her husband and their two daughters, traveling, and competitive sailing.
