Rachel Whitman

Director of Learning & Development

Rachel is the Director of Learning and Development at Redwood Services, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the residential home services industry. Her work has centered on helping people grow in their roles, build confidence, and apply what they learn in ways that support both their day-to-day work and the larger business.

Before joining Redwood, Rachel held senior leadership and director-level roles at Nexstar Network, where she worked closely with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical businesses across training, development, innovation, implementation, and project management. She helped lead the creation of technical training pathways for residential service technicians and supported broader learning initiatives designed to help contractors strengthen their teams and grow their businesses.

Rachel’s background also includes experience in learning and development, instructional design, product development, and publishing. Across those roles, she has built a career around making information clearer, more practical, and easier to use—whether through training programs, curriculum, content strategy, or tools that help teams do their work more effectively.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys traveling, reading, and going on adventures with her family. She brings that same curiosity and love of learning into her work, where she is passionate about helping people develop their skills and feel more prepared for what comes next.
